A great way to learn more about yourself.

As usual, Joni delivers. I am never disappointed in any of Joni Mayhan's books. Most of them are quick and interesting reads. This book took me a while to get through. I kept book marking and rereading chapters. I kept a notebook handy while i was reading. Dark and Scary Things was full of exercises to help the reader discover their own gifts. While I have always known I do not possess the ability to sense the presence of ghosts or spirits, I didn't realize that I am possibly an empath. This is something that I will look into further.
I find the paranormal a fascinating subject and loved reading about Joni's experiences in her other books. With Dark and Scary things, I learned a great deal about myself.

Required reading for those that embrace the supernatural. Dark and Scary Things is a comprehensive A-Z of metaphysics and paranormal learning. This book explains the what and why behind supernatural occurrences. One read isn't enough for all the information included. Both an enjoyable and informative read.
